Team Brick Alberta's Hemmerling deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Connecticut Yankees

Behind a great game by Ben Hemmerling, who had two goals, Team Brick Alberta defeated Connecticut Yankees, 4-1.

Hemmerling found the back of the net 56 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Team Brick Alberta and again while 6:43 into the third to make the score 3-1 Team Brick Alberta.

Team Brick Alberta put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Connecticut Yankees to score on any of its three power plays. Connecticut Yankees was unable to stop Team Brick Alberta from sending pucks towards the net, and Team Brick Alberta eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

Team Brick Alberta additionally got points from Jordan Gustafson, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Matthew Savoie also scored for Team Brick Alberta. In addition, Team Brick Alberta received assists from Rieger Lorenz and Liam Watkins, who contributed one each.

Connecticut Yankees was led by Andon Cerbone, who scored the team's only goal. Cerbone scored seven seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 Team Brick Alberta. Joseph Dable provided the assist.

Nicholas Jones recorded 22 saves for Team Brick Alberta. Team Brick Alberta incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Connecticut Yankees' Brendan Holohan stopped 35 shots out of the 39 that he faced. Connecticut Yankees incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
