The Pembroke Lumber Kings' Trent Durocher scored 8:13 into overtime to beat the Brockville Braves, 2-1 (OT).

The win by Pembroke clinched the best of seven series at 4-2.

The Lumber Kings were led by goalie Darren Smith, who finished with 40 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Smith will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.94.

Pembroke was led by Durocher, who registered one goal.

The Lumber Kings' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Brockville power plays. Brockville was unable to stop Pembroke from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumber Kings eventually piled up 49 shots on goal.

Kyle Shaw also scored for Pembroke. More assists for Pembroke came via Dylan Staples, Lucas Gonu, and Ryan Erickson, who each chipped in one.

The Braves stifled Pembroke's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brockville forced the Lumber Kings goalie Smith to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

The Braves were led by Sean King, who scored the team's only goal. King scored 12:34 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Cory Wilson assisted on the tally.
