The Pembroke Lumber Kings had trouble finding ways to stop the Brockville Braves, which beat Lumber Kings, 6-3. With the win, Brockville evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Sean King was all over the ice for the Braves, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. King scored 6:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brockville. Cory Wilson assisted on the tally. Pembroke's 15 penalties came back to haunt it, as the Lumber Kings let up four goals while on the penalty kill. Brockville forced Pembroke's goalies to work without much rest, racking up 39 shots and forcing 33 saves. Sean Keating made 22 stops and Darren Smith made 11. The Braves got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Brockville additionally got points from Eric Israel, who also registered one goal and two assists, Jack Billings, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Ryan Cusin, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Andrew Peski, who also had one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Brockville were Nathan Todd, who had four. The Lumber Kings forced Brockville goalie Andrew Pikul to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. Pembroke totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with 14 minors and one major and went 2-for-8 on the power play. For the Lumber Kings, Petaccio was ejected from the game.
