Michael Buonincontri registered two points to lead the Smiths Falls Bears to a 5-2 victory over the Nepean Raiders. After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Nepean faces elimination next time out. Smiths Falls' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Nepean power plays. The Raiders were unable to stop the Bears from sending pucks towards the net, and Smiths Falls eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. Smiths Falls additionally got points from Taylor Henry, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Neil Doef, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Smiths Falls also had goals scored by Brandon Lesway and Victor Beaulac, who scored one goal each. In addition, Smiths Falls received assists from Brandon McMartin, who had two. Nepean excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Raiders were helped by Jody Sullivan, who had one goal. Sullivan scored 14:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Nepean. Tanner Williams provided the assist. Nepean also got a goal from Jesse Ferras as well. Smiths Falls incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Ryan Mulder recorded 36 saves for Nepean. The Raiders incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
