Fiat Professional Val Pusteria downs HC Asiago Migross in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Fiat Professional Val Pusteria Lupi pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over HC Asiago Migross on a clutch goal by Max Oberrauch.

HC Asiago Migross was stymied by Fiat Professional Val Pusteria's netminder Jean Sebastien Aubin, who stopped 40 shots during the victory. The solid play of Aubin will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.98.

The Lupi were sparked by Oberrauch, who had one goal. Oberrauch scored 9:13 into overtime to make the score 2-1 Fiat Professional Val Pusteria. Christian Borgatello picked up the assist.

Fiat Professional Val Pusteria excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Robert Sirianni also scored for Fiat Professional Val Pusteria. Other players who recorded assists for Fiat Professional Val Pusteria were Ryan OMarra, David Ling, and Dennis McCauley, who contributed one each.

HC Asiago Migross' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Fiat Professional Val Pusteria power plays. HC Asiago Migross could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

HC Asiago Migross was led by Stefano Marchetti, who scored the team's only goal. Marchetti scored 3:08 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Layne Ulmer assisted on the tally.

The Lupi incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Alessandro Tura rejected 32 shots on goal for HC Asiago Migross.
