The Blenheim Blades tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Belle River Canadiens held on for a 3-2 victory. Belle River made the score 3-1 on a goal by Branden Larocque at 10:08 in the second period, and Blenheim got as close as 3-2 when Justin Rossignol scored 7:49 into the third period. The win moved the Canadiens to down 2-1 in the best of seven series. Belle River got the win on the strength of a great game by Mike Ditty, who had two goals and one assist. Ditty scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 14:57 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Canadiens had gained a power play chance when Zack Horvath was whistled for hooking. Larocque assisted on the tally. Ditty's next tally on the power play made the score 2-1 Belle River with two seconds left in the first period. Larocque picked up the assist. Belle River excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. The Blades were unable to stop the Canadiens from sending pucks towards the net, and Belle River eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Belle River additionally got points from Larocque, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for Belle River were Kody Gagnon, who had one and Sebastian Kanally, who had two. Blenheim's offense rang up 32 shots on the Canadiens' net. The Blades struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Belle River to score two power play goals on three chances. Blenheim was helped by Corbin Hagerman, who registered one goal.
