Arren Romeril was superb between the pipes for the Amherstburg Admirals, as he did not allow a goal in a 4-0 victory over the Belle River Canadiens.

With the win, Amherstburg evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown.

Belle River's power play was ineffective against the Admirals' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Amherstburg was led by Chad Copeland, who registered one goal. Copeland scored 19:57 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Amherstburg. Luke Gagnon picked up the assist.

The Admirals forced Canadiens' netminders to work between the pipes, getting 34 shots and forcing 30 saves. Mitch Topliffe made 27 stops and Colin Tetroult made three. Amherstburg excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in nine chances.

Amherstburg also got points from Brett Beattie, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Amherstburg also got a goal from Dan Matoski as well. More assists for Amherstburg came via Blake Rutckyj, who had one and Tyler Lawrence, who had two.

Romeril recorded 27 saves for the Admirals. Amherstburg incurred 42 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors. The Canadiens incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
