Behind a great game by Cole Borchardt, who had two goals and one assist, the Team Southeast TCF defeated the Team North Muscle Milk, 6-2.

Borchardt scored at 15:34 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Team Southeast and again while 7:17 into the second to make the score 3-2 Team Southeast.

Team Southeast made Muscle Milk's netminders to work in net, getting 41 shots and forcing 35 saves. Hunter Shepard made nine stops and Gabe Heifort made 26. The TCF excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Team Southeast additionally got points from Tommy Novak, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Jacob Olson also scored for Team Southeast. Other players who recorded assists for Team Southeast were Steven Spinner, who had two and Nick Swaney, Willie Brown, and Tyler Sheehy, who each chipped in one.

Team North kept Team Southeast's goalie busy throughout the game, and Andrew Lindgren made 39 saves on 41 shots.

The Muscle Milk were helped by Tanner Tweten, who grabbed one goal. Tweten scored 2:19 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Nate Pionk picked up the assist. Team North also got a goal from Carter Roo as well. In addition, Team North received assists from Colton Poolman, Jack Jenson, and Eddie Eades, who contributed one a piece.

The TCF incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Team North incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
