A stellar performance between the pipes by Tanner Holmes helped Great Plains defeat Team Wisconsin, 4-1.

Great Plains was led by Kobe Roth, who grabbed one goal. Roth scored 19:50 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Great Plains. Tanner Skaja provided the assist.

Great Plains put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Team Wisconsin to score on any of its five power plays.

Great Plains also got a goal from Doug Larson as well. In addition, Great Plains received assists from Paul Kenney, who had one.

Team Wisconsin kept Great Plains' goalie busy throughout the game, and Holmes made 41 saves on 42 shots.

Team Wisconsin was led by Michael Wilson, who scored the team's only goal. Wilson scored 4:38 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Great Plains. Robby Fosdick picked up the assist.

Great Plains incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Nathan Siclovan made 23 saves for Team Wisconsin on 26 shots. Team Wisconsin incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
