Colorado Rampage beats Team North 5-3 as Suter gets hat trick

Jack Suter lifted Colorado Rampage to a 5-3 victory with a hat trick against the Team North Muscle Milk.

Suter notched his first tally 5:08 into the second period. He then added goals at 19:31 into the second and at 19:51 into the third.

Colorado Rampage led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Colorado Rampage's Cameron Strong's scored at 1:35 in the third period to put Colorado Rampage up 4-0.

Colorado Rampage put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Team North to score on any of its four power plays.

Colorado Rampage also got a goal from Cody Holland as well. More assists for Colorado Rampage came via Sean Giles, Nolan Carothers, James Huerena, Logan Speelman, and Ryan Bochert, who each chipped in one.

The Muscle Milk stifled Colorado Rampage's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team North's offense rang up 37 shots on Colorado Rampage's net.

The Muscle Milk were led by Carter Roo, who finished with one goal and one assist. Roo scored 19:34 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Colorado Rampage. Chris Pohlkamp provided the assist. Jack Jenson also scored for Team North. Other players who recorded assists for Team North were Tanner Tweten, who had one.

Jacob Weatherly recorded 34 saves for Colorado Rampage. Colorado Rampage totaled 31 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-4 on the power play. Gabe Heifort took the loss and made six saves before being replaced by Hunter Shepard who made seven saves. Team North incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
