The Alliston Hornets gutted out a close 3-2 win against the Schomberg Cougars. Alliston gained the winning advantage on a goal by Bobby Sloan 5:11 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. The Hornets were paced by Sloan, who had one goal and one assist. Alliston racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and one major for 33 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 25.0 minutes per game the Hornets had been spending in the box. Alliston additionally got points from Mark ODonnell, who also registered one goal and one assist. Alliston also got a goal from David Leblanc as well. In addition, Alliston received assists from Jamie Bennett, Tanner Dockerty, Andrew Ceolin, and Nic Archibald, who contributed one a piece. Alliston ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Dockerty was ejected from the game. Taylor Ewart recorded 22 saves for the Cougars. Schomberg incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors.
