Ryan Tucci had two goals and two assists to lead the Orillia Terriers to a 5-2 victory over the Fergus Devils. Tucci scored on the power play at 2:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Orillia and again while 18:57 into the third to make the score 5-2 Orillia.Orillia pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes. The Terriers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Fergus power plays. Orillia forced Fergus goalie Alex Elliott to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Orillia additionally got points from Jake Shaw, who also had one goal and one assist. Orillia also had goals scored by Andreas Alexiou and Josh Allan, who each put in one. In addition, Orillia received assists from Marty Lawlor, who had four. The Devils kept the Terriers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Gordie Weiss made 51 saves on 53 shots. Fergus was helped by Luke Reinhart, who racked up one goal. Reinhart scored 3:29 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ben Roelofson provided the assist. Fergus also got a goal from Joshua Machesney as well. More assists for Fergus came via Dustin Scheer, who had one. Orillia registered three goals on six power play opportunities. Alex Elliott made 29 saves for the Devils on 33 shots. Fergus incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
