The Alliston Hornets survived a determined comeback attempt by the Caledon Golden Hawks on the way to a 4-3 win. Alliston made the score 4-2 on a goal by Joe Cochrane at 5:51 in the third period, and Caledon got as close as 4-3 when Patrick Savella scored 15:35 into the third period. The Hornets were sparked by Cochrane, who tallied one goal and one assist. The Golden Hawks were unable to stop Alliston from sending pucks towards the net, and the Hornets eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. Alliston also got points from Jamie Bennett, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Matt Hamilton, who also had one goal and one assist. Dakota Brooks also scored for Alliston. More assists for Alliston came via William Bradon, who had one and Mike Barosso, who had two. Caledon was helped by Steven Klomp, who registered one goal and one assist. Klomp scored on the power play 18:29 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Golden Hawks had gotten the advantage when Alliston's Brooks was sent off for slashing.
