Sloan leads Alliston over Huntsville, 6-3

Bobby Sloan was all over the ice for the Alliston Hornets, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Alliston's 6-3 win over the Huntsville Otters.

Sloan's tallies came at 7:44 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Alliston and 11:05 into the third to make the score 5-3 Alliston.

Huntsville was unable to stop the Hornets from sending pucks towards the net, and Alliston eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. The Hornets' goal total was higher than their season average. Alliston averages 3.9 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Alliston also got points from Tanner Dockerty, who also had two goals and two assists. David Leblanc also scored for Alliston. In addition, Alliston received assists from Matt Hamilton, who had two and Jaykob Price, William Bradon, Joe Cochrane, and Andrew Ceolin, who each chipped in one.

The Otters were helped by Travis Armour, who tallied one goal. Armour scored 8:05 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Alliston. Noah Stevens provided the assist. Huntsville additionally got points from Jay Dix, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Marco Luciani, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Huntsville came via Brock Heshka, Trayvon Henry, and Jason Morissette, who contributed one a piece.

Tyler Brindle recorded 21 saves for the Hornets. Alliston incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. TJ Sherwood made 28 saves for Huntsville on 34 shots. The Otters incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
