Adam Redgate stood on his head and made 34 saves to lead the Penetang Kings to a 3-1 victory over the Alliston Hornets. Matt Fischer had one goal and two assists to lead Penetang. Fischer scored on the power play 11:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Penetang. A head contact penalty on Jamie Bennett had put the Kings on the power play. Jack Scanlan provided the assist. Penetang's offense operated below it season average. The Kings average 5.5 goals per game. Penetang forced Alliston goalie Tyler Brindle to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Team could not crack the Hornets' penalty kill and was held to one power play goal while having 13 opportunities to play with the man advantage. Jordan Schwartz also scored for Penetang. Other players who recorded assists for Penetang were Kyle Burns, who had one. Alliston could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Hornets could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 40 minutes in penalties during the game. Alliston was led by Jacob Tuck, who scored the team's only goal. Tuck scored on the power play 15:08 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Hornets earned a power play opportunity when Scanlan was put in the box for interference. Sean Anderson assisted on the tally. Penetang incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. For the Kings, Jesse Moreau was ejected from the game. Brindle recorded 30 saves for Alliston. The Hornets registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Alliston ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Alex Daley was ejected from the game.
