The Huntsville Otters relied on the sparkling performance of TJ Sherwood in net to grab a 3-1 win against the Orillia Terriers. Orillia's power play was ineffective against Huntsville's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. The Otters were led by Trayvon Henry, who finished with one goal. Henry scored on the power play 19:03 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Huntsville. Huntsville had gotten the advantage when the Terriers' Marty Lawlor was sent off for charging. Noah Stevens provided the assist. The Otters stifled Orillia's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Orillia was led by Daniel Lee, who scored the team's only goal. Lee scored 3:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Orillia. TJ Sherwood made 57 saves for Huntsville on 58 shots. The Otters incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Terriers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
