A stellar performance between the pipes by Charlie Millen helped the Ottawa Senators defeat the Nepean Raiders, 3-1. After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Nepean faces elimination next time out. The Raiders were stymied by Ottawa netminder Millen, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. Millen managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.67 prior to the game. The Senators stifled Nepean's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Ottawa was led by Michael Evelyn, who had one goal and two assists. Evelyn scored 19:10 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Ottawa. Ryan Collins picked up the assist. Ottawa also got points from Collins, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Ottawa also got a goal from Chad Millett as well. More assists for Ottawa came via Chris King and Derek Brown, who each chipped in one. The Raiders were led by Keenan Hodgson, who scored the team's only goal. Hodgson scored 17:46 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Brandon Watt assisted on the tally. The Senators incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Ryan Mulder rejected 22 shots on goal for Nepean. The Raiders incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
