The Nepean Raiders survived a determined comeback attempt by the Ottawa Senators on the way to a 4-2 win. Nepean made the score 4-1 on a goal by Cory Durocher at 11:34 in the third period, and Ottawa got as close as 4-2 when Ben Robillard scored 12:53 into the third period. With the win, the Raiders evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Nepean was led by Dalen Hedges, who had three goals and one assist. Nepean additionally got points from Durocher, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Nepean received assists from Kenneth Neil, who had two and Phil Nasca, Cameron Yarwood, and Zach Rodier, who each chipped in one. Ottawa also got a goal from Chris King as well. More assists for Ottawa came via Greg Jansz, who had two and Ryan Collins and Eric Clitsome, who contributed one a piece. Ryan Mulder recorded 28 saves for the Raiders. Nepean totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 2-for-5 on the power play. For the Raiders, Brandon Belding was ejected from the game. The Senators' starting goalie, Charlie Millen, made 13 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Alexandre Savard-Belanger, who stopped 10 shots. Ottawa totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play. The Senators ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Chad Millett was ejected from the game.
