Amarillo Bulls survives Michigan Warriors comeback, wins 2-1

Amarillo Bulls survived a determined comeback attempt by Michigan Warriors on the way to a 2-1 win.

Amarillo Bulls made the score 2-0 on a goal by Derek Hills at 3:45 in the second period, and Michigan Warriors got as close as 2-1 when Eli Davis scored 4:53 into the third period.

Amarillo Bulls was led by Hills, who registered one goal.

Sheldon Taylor also scored for Amarillo Bulls. More assists for Amarillo Bulls came via Karl Beckman, Dan Sherer, and Ryan Taylor, who contributed one each.

Michigan Warriors did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

In addition, Michigan Warriors received assists from Thomas McEachern, who had one.

Amarillo Bulls ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Michigan Warriors registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
