LaSalle downs London, 2-1

Ryan Speers had one point to lead the LaSalle Vipers to a 2-1 victory over the London Nationals.

LaSalle put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow London to score on any of its four power plays.

LaSalle got a goal from Eric Noel as well. More assists for LaSalle came via Chris Pignanelli and Dylan Seguin, who each chipped in one.

The Nationals did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. London puts an average of three pucks into the net per game.

The Nationals were led by Pieter Schinkelshoek, who scored the team's only goal. Schinkelshoek scored 19:07 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London. Daniel Cameron picked up the assist.

Jordan Dekort recorded 24 saves for the Vipers. LaSalle incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. London's Taylor Edwards stopped 17 shots out of the 19 that he faced. The Nationals incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
