The Lambton Shores Predators survived a determined comeback attempt by the Leamington Flyers on the way to a 3-2 win.

Lambton Shores took a 2-0 lead during the first period, only to have Leamington storm back on a Tony Spidalieri goal 4:19 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

The Predators were led by Cody Trowell, who grabbed one goal. Trowell scored 15:36 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Lambton Shores. Kyle Brothers picked up the assist.

Lambton Shores kept the Flyers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Darien Ekblad made 28 saves on 31 shots. The Predators' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Lambton Shores finished with 17 penalty minutes. The leading offender was Kody Ryan, who totaled five minutes in penalty time with one major.
