St. Marys survives Sarnia comeback, wins 4-3

The St. Marys Lincolns survived a determined comeback attempt by the Sarnia Legionnaires on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Shayne Rhyno put St. Marys up 4-1 in the third period, but Sarnia pulled to within one on Jason Teschke's tally 17:49 into the third period.

The Lincolns were led by Bryan McCauley, who had one goal and one assist. McCauley scored on the power play 13:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Marys. St. Marys had gotten the advantage when the Legionnaires' Steve Farlow was sent off for high sticking. Mitch McIntosh picked up the assist. St. Marys also got points from McIntosh, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tyson Baker also scored for St. Marys. More assists for St. Marys came via Mitchell Berzins, who had two and Mitchell Fitzmorris, David Sproat, Brendon Merritt, and Reid Oliver, who each chipped in one.
