Jordan Bailey was all over the ice for the Fort Erie Meteors, as he tallied two goals and four assists in Fort Erie's 8-3 win over the Buffalo Jr. Blades. Bailey scored on the power play at 1:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Fort Erie and again while 12:57 into the second to make the score 3-2 Fort Erie.The Meteors' penalty kill excelled, as Fort Erie gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays. The Meteors kept Buffalo's goalie busy throughout the game, and Cory Sorrento made 46 saves on 54 shots. Fort Erie surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Meteors have scored at the pace of 3.0 goals per game during the current campaign. The defensemen of Fort Erie were also effective in the Jr. Blades' zone, and came away with two goals. The Meteors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game. Fort Erie additionally got points from Denis Creighton, who also had one goal and one assist, Nik Passero, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Connor MacIvor, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Jordan Bolibruck, who also registered one goal and two assists. Fort Erie also had goals scored by Dallas Ingram and Nigel Slade, who each put in one. In addition, Fort Erie received assists from Andrew Ansell, Nathan Judd-Warren, Jesse Parker, Jonathan England, and Brock Malatches, who each chipped in one. Buffalo's offense rang up 44 shots on Fort Erie's net. The Jr. Blades could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 46 minutes in penalties during the game. Buffalo was helped by Ty Gallagher, who tallied one goal. Gallagher scored on the power play 16:57 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Jr. Blades had gotten the advantage when the Meteors' Ingram was sent off for cross checking. Jon Haun assisted on the tally. Buffalo also got points from Gavin Abbott, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Buffalo also got a goal from Cody Teijeira as well. More assists for Buffalo came via Dylan Gethicker, Brian Osieja, and Henry Berger, who contributed one each. Fort Erie's Connor Visca stopped 41 shots out of the 44 that he faced. The Meteors registered three goals on eight power play opportunities. For Buffalo, Alex Wagner was ejected from the game.
