Paying it forward….making our community a better place!

On Saturday, September 14^th, members of the Ft Vancouver Vipers got up bright and early to volunteer their time and muscle to the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife.  The volunteers spent the day clearing brush, mending fence lines, and cleaning up a large area of Vancouver Lake known as the lowlands.  The Pacific Northwest is known for its natural beauty and the Vipers want to ensure it remains as such.  A giant thank you to our volunteers and the Department of Fish & Wildlife for your efforts…we are looking forward to our continued involvement with our community members.  Click here to see some pictures of the guys in action!!

Chuck Cheshire (Vipers GM) would like to extend his thanks to everyone who has been involved with the Vipers organization and turning it into what it is today!  Thank you to our Head Coach Mike Dickerman for coming onboard to coach and mentor these young men; thank you to Keith Bemis for professionally representing the team and working with our league officials; thank you to Janet and Danny Steinmueller for your help with managing our books, working our Facebook page, and tackling all the nuances that goes into making each game and the entire season a success; thank you to Kelly Chavez for your resounding efforts to ensure that every player needing a billet was placed with an amazing family; thank you to Chris Cheshire for your assistance with managing our team’s website and your assistance during the recruiting process; and thank you to Rick Heimbuch for your efforts towards drumming up many of our sponsors and partners for the coming season!!
