The Mississauga SW Twins scored four runs in the first inning and cruised to a 7-4 victory over New Brunswick behind six strong innings of pitching by Billy Hurley in their first game representing Ontario at the Baseball Canada Senior Men's Championships in Windsor, Ontario. Michael Cardinale closed the game with one inning of scoreless pitching.
In other evening action the host Windsor Stars scored three times in the top of the 9th inning to break a 2-2 tie with Alberta and then hung on for a 5-4 win.
