Running Back #5 Jordan Samoil Edmonton Wildcats Unanimous selection
Jordan led the PFC in rushing this year with 1,340 yards – 4th most in PFC history – and 2nd
most in the CJFL this year behind a BCFC player that played 2 more games. He led the league
in carries with 163, and led the conference with 13 touchdowns. His 365-yard game late in the
season stood as the CJFL record until it was eclipsed 2 weeks later. Jordan was also 2nd in
scoring in the PFC this year.
Running Back #31 Martin Hovi Winnipeg Rifles
Martin was 3rd in the CJFL with 141 carries, rushing for 981 yards (2nd in the PFC) and led the
Conference in rushing TD’s with 7. He added 72 yards in pass receptions.
Quarterback #10 Derek Cooper Calgary Colts
Derek led the PFC in passing TD’s with 13. He qualified for the PFC Record Book by having
the 5th highest completion percentage in a season (minimum 100 attempts) and in a game
(76.9% with 20 completions on 26 attempts) in Week #8.
Receiver #20 Jimmy Ralph Calgary Colts Unanimous selection
Jimmy’s rookie season finished with his receiving totals placing him 5th in the conference.
Receiver #80 Brett Carter Winnipeg Rifles
Brett was 1st in the PFC in 2012 with 782 yards (3rd in the CJFL) with 6 touchdowns. This is
the 2nd year in a row that a Rifles player has finished with nearly exact same numbers and
ranking.
Receiver #28 Kyle McGinnis Saskatoon Hilltops
Kyle was 3rd in the PFC with 622 yards.
Receiver #71 Mitch Thompson Regina Thunder
Mitch was 4th in the PFC with 569 yards.
Place Kicker #14 Ideen Samadi Edmonton Wildcats
Ideen led the PFC in scoring with 85 points and was 2nd in the conference in kick-off yards
(1,872). His 19 successful field goals places in the PFC Record Book, tied for 3rd place.

Defensive Lineman #91 Josh Madsen Edmonton Wildcats
Josh tied for the lead in the PFC with 5 quarterback sacks.
Defensive Lineman #79 Donovan Dale Saskatoon Hilltops
Donovan had the longest fumble return in the PFC this year, with a 45-yard rumble.
Defensive Lineman #76 Brett Pisio Saskatoon Hilltops 3rd year in a row
Brett continues to excel on defense, as his 3rd all-star selection shows. He led the PFC this year
in fumble recoveries with 3.

Linebacker #42 Stephen Dereniwski Calgary Colts 2nd year in a row; Unanimous selection
The 2011 Outstanding Linebacker recipient, Stephen led the Colts’ linebacking corps with 81.5
defensive points.
Linebacker #50 Dylan Kemp Saskatoon Hilltops
Defensive points with 81 and racked up 45 total tackles (27 Solo, 10 Assists, 7 STT, 1 STA)
Linebacker #10 Yianni Cabylis Regina Thunder
Yianni was 2nd in the PFC and 5th in the CJFL with 114 defensive points this year.
Linebacker #35 Ben Cressman Saskatoon Hilltops
Ben was 4th in the PFC this year with 92 defensive points.
Linebacker #24 Chance Hanson Edmonton Huskies
Chance led the PFC in defensive points with 117.
Defensive Back #24 Mike Waldron Saskatoon Hilltops
Mike was the leading DB with the Hilltops with 28 tackles and 79.5 defensive points.
Defensive Back #3 Chris Friesen Saskatoon Hilltops
Chris had 40 defensive points this year.
Defensive Back #9 Jermaine Gabriel Calgary Colts Unanimous selection
Jermaine was the leading Colt d-back with 88 defensive points.
Defensive Back #1 Adam Laurensse Edmonton Wildcats
Adam racked up 91 defensive points in 2012 and he led the PFC with 8 interceptions with 5 of
them coming in the season’s first 2 games.
Defensive Back #12 Mark Ingram Regina Thunder
Mark was the leading defensive back for the Thunder with 71 defensive points.
Punter #6 Andrew Fabian Calgary Colts 3rd year in a row
New jersey number, but Andrew maintained the highest gross average of 39.86 yards, increasing his average over the past 2 years.
PFC COMMUNITY SERVICES AWARD WINNER
#22 D.J. Whetton Calgary Colts 2nd year in a row
D.J. remains only the second recipient of this prestigious award, which has been awarded 4 times.
He coaches Football, Basketball and track and assists at the Aim High Sports Camp. D.J. is also
involved in the Young Life Youth Mentoring Program and will be joining them full-time in 2013 as a child and youth worker after he graduates from Mount Royal University.
