Southampton’s Drew Silwkowski (UMass) stood out among the HCBL pitchers in the 2025 HCBL season and was recognized for his performance on the mound by being named the 2025 HCBL Pitcher of the Year.

The native of Kennebunkport, MA, went 5-0 for Southampton in six appearances and five starts on the mound during the 2025 season. Silwkowski had an ERA of 0.78, leading the HCBL among pitchers in that category, and struck out 29 batters in 23.0 innings pitched.

Silwkowski’s strongest effort on the mound was on July 13th against the Westhampton Aviators, where he tossed five shutout innings, only allowing one hit while striking out six batters.

Silwkowski is the eighth Breaker to win the HCBL Pitcher of the Year award and the second in the last three seasons to win it after John Kwiatkowski (Manhattan) took the award in 2023.

Silwkowski’s HCBL Pitcher of the Year award marks a clean sweep among the year-end awards for the Breakers after Collin Quintano (Villanova) won the HCBL MVP and Giacomo Travaglia (Fordham) took HCBL Reliever of the Year honors.
