The Okanagan College Coyotes completed a four game sweep to win the 2025 Canadian College World Series in Lethbridge, AB over the May Long Weekend at Spitz Stadium. The Coyotes headed into the tournament as the # 2 seed after finishing the regular season with a 19-12 record.  

The championship game saw the Coyotes square off against regional rival the # 4 seed Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack.  The Coyotes jumped out to a 8-1 lead heading into the 6th before the Wolfpack clawed back to within one run scoring 6 runs.  The Coyotes would score 2 more runs in the bottom of the 8th before setting up an exciting finish in the 9th. 

The Wolfpack would load the bases with none out.  The Coyotes would induce a ground ball double play to get two outs.  The next two Wolfpack batters would reach base on a hit and and error.  With the game tying run on 3rd and go ahead run on the 2nd, the Wolfpack would ground out to shortstop for the Coyotes to seal the victory.
