The Syosset Braves made a triumphant return to Islandwide by winning the Tier 2 championship 5-3 against the Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs. The Braves were the top seed in Tier 2 and beat Farmingdale 4-3 in an exciting overtime game with the winner scored by Jesse Kuropatkin. 

Bellmore-Merrick knocked off POB/JFK in their semi-final overcoming a two goal deficit in the final minutes. Marco Milack scored four goals in the game and Eric Wurtzel scored the game winner.

The Bulldogs came out strong in the championship by taking a 3-1 lead, but Syosset hung in there getting goals from Brian O'Reilly and Austin August. Matt Ferrante's three goals helped the Braves cement the game and the championship.
