The Mississauga Jr. Hurricanes had a single game this weekend facing off against the Southwest Wildcats. After a quiet start, Olivia Fantino got the Jr. Hurricanes on the board with a shorthanded goal with 5 minutes left in the first period. Before the end of the period Charlotte Pieckenhagen added a 2nd goal. 

Maxine Cimoroni added a quick goal in the 2nd period. The Jr. Hurricanes got on their heels after back to back shorthanded goals by Southwest. Bo Dean responded with a pair of goals, Pieckenhagen added her 2nd of the game and Kahlan Lamarche capped off the scoring resulting in a 7-3 win for Mississauga. 

The Jr. Hurricanes head on the road next weekend for a 3 game push against London, Southwest and Bluewater.
