It was another busy weekend for the Mississauga Jr. Hurricanes who had back to back home games.

On Saturday, the Jr. Hurricanes hosted the Oakville Jr. Hornets for the 2nd annual Pink in the Rink game which raised money for breast cancer research. The event was a success raising $850 and bringing awareness to a very important cause. The Jr. Hurricanes got off to a fast start dominating much of the play in the first period but, ultimately, gave up the first goal early in the second period. The Jr. Hurricanes answered back quickly with a goal from Kahlen Lamarche. After back and forth action the game ended with a 1-1 tie. The Jr. Hurricanes would like to thank everyone who came out to support the team in such an important game.
