Date: Mar 9, 2023
Want to provide a helping hand for your USF Ice Bulls this hockey season? Want to build your resume and be involved with the largest sports club at USF? The USF Ice Hockey Club is looking for volunteers throughout the season to help run games, broadcasts, social media, website management, content creation, and more! Details follow in this article.
The Men's Ice Hockey Club now has two teams playing at the D2 and D3 level. Help is needed for both as well in the general management of the club.
Our club would not be what it is today without some hard working people behind the scenes taking things to new levels. We are looking for a few talented people to help fill some open spaces behind the scenes. Below are the positions we have open and the details behind what is expected.
Game Day Volunteers
Game day volunteers will be present at home games to table and be a knowledgeable contact point for fans. As a game day volunteer you will sit at a designated table and help collect donations for the club, hand out any promotional material, as well as answer any questions fans may have to the best of your ability. Other game day tasks may be needed as well!
Any further questions regarding being a game day volunteer can be directed to Zack Slezak (VP of Club Affairs) via email: zslezak@usf.edu

Our club is able to have such a widespread audience due to the work of our broadcast team which streams the game live during any home games and provides commentary and thoughtful insight to the viewers. Responsibilities may include setting up broadcasting equipment before the game, displaying on-screen graphics during the live broadcast, and providing commentary and analysis as a play-by-play and/or color announcer. Anyone can apply for these positions, but priority will be given to students at the University of South Florida. Due to the club being a student-run organization, these positions are on a volunteer basis and will not be paid. However, all volunteers have the ability to boost their resumes, gain community service hours, and boost the Men's USF Ice Hockey Club to new heights! If you have any further questions, please contact those listed under the position or you may reach out to us via social media. If you are interested in applying, you can apply here.
