For the second year in a row, team Minnesota claimed the Girls Major Showcase Championship title.  After defeating Mass Preps in a tight game earlier Saturday morning, Minnesota took on a talented team with a promising future.  TeamONE, coached by Ray Jacques, has a roster filled with future stars, including the scoring champ Caitrin Lonergan.  However, they were unable to put the puck in the net more than once.

Coached by Lenny Vannelli and his daughter Laura, Minnesota entered the game with a 4-1-1 record with 21 goals-for and 11 goals-against.  TeamONE entered the game with a 6-0 record with 21 goals-for and 6 goals-against.

Both teams showed great discipline in their own end, but Minnesota's goaltenders helped them achieve their repeat Championship.
