Tangled Roots Brewing Company Brews Up Pistol Shrimp Beer

(Peru, IL) 2.6.22 The Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp and Tangled Roots Brewing Company have brewed up plans for a new signature Pistol Shrimp beer. The beer is currently in development and will be a light, crisp golden ale, perfect for summer nights watching baseball.

The beer will be available at Pistol Shrimp games throughout the season, including Tangled Roots’ Thirsty Thursday Craft Beer Night on July 28th. Fans will also be able to purchase 6 packs of the Pistol Shrimp beer at selected local retail locations starting in May or order on tap at selected restaurants and bars throughout the Illinois Valley including Lone Buffalo in Ottawa.

The Pistol Shrimp want the FANS to name their new beer. Look for social media posts across all platforms this week to enter your ideas for a shrimply excellent beer name. The most interesting names will be featured in an online vote the week of February 14.

Tangled Roots Brewing Company was started in 2016 and celebrates their 6th Anniversary this month. They love partnering with fellow community members and look forward to seeing what the future holds for the Pistol Shrimp. After all - what goes better together than baseball and beer?
