Date: Mar 9, 2023
After returning to the ice from an exciting weekend sweep against the University of Miami Hurricanes (read about last weekend here), the Bulls look towards facing off with the UCF Knights this weekend. The Knights currently have a record of 5-10-1-0 after finishing off their latest game last Saturday, November 6th, with an tie against the University of Buffalo. The Bulls and Knights are back-to-back in the Southern Collegiate Hockey Conference (SCHC) standings, with USF in third and UCF in fourth.
The rivalry match begins in Orlando on Saturday, November 13th at 9:00pm at UCF’s home arena known as the RDV Sportsplex Ice Den. If you are interested in cheering on our Bulls in black and gold territory, the address and directions to the Knights home arena is located on their website.
If you can’t make it out, don’t worry, because the Bulls will host the UCF Knights on home ice on Sunday, November 14th at 12:00pm. This game is not one to miss as the War on I-4 will continue with attendance from some of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s favorites: In-Game Host, Greg Wolf, and Anthem Singer, Sonya-Bryson Kirksey. Along with these special guests, the University of South Florida’s very own Vice President of Athletics, Micheal Kelly, will be in the stands to cheer on the Bulls.
As always, we hope to see you repping gold and green this weekend in the stands for another classic War on I-4 battle. Make sure to follow the team’s twitter (@HockeyClubUSF) to stay updated with the play-by-play, and information on where to watch the games from home, for both games against UCF this weekend.
