Coach Wedgewood, New Head Coach of ND Junior Jays

The North Delta Blue Jays Baseball Club would like to welcome Coach Logan Wedgewood as 

the new head coach of the North Delta Junior Blue Jays. Coach Wedgewood has a long and varied baseball career. Coach Wedgewood has spent the past couple years as an assistant coach on both the senior and junior teams as well as the program’s catching and hitting coach. Leading up to starting with the Jays, he played four years of college ball and coached three years in Canadian Collegiate Baseball in Kelowna. Player Accomplishments:

  • Played youth ball with the St. Francis Xavier Baseball Academy
  • 2010-2011 Team Alberta Canada Cup bronze medal with Kindersley, Sask. & Moncton, NB
  • 2012 Douglas College Royals in the NWAC
  • 2014 Okanagan College of the CCBC; awarded 2nd Team All-Conference awards at Catcher (2015) & Utility (2016)
  • 2012-2016 Western Major Baseball League ( WMBL)

 

Coaching Career:

  • 2021 North Delta Blue Jays Assistant, Catching, and Hitting Coach
  • 2020 Head Coach Delta Tigers Bantam Development team 
  • 2016-2019 Okanagan College catching/hitting instructor
