BECKLEY, W.Va. - The Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, lost both ends of a doubleheader to the West Virginia Miners Wednesday in Beckley by scores of 7-2 and 7-1.

West Virginia added two more in the bottom of the eighth to cap the scoring at 7-2.

In game two, the Miners opened the scoring with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second inning. Andrew Talkington walked to lead off the inning, scoring on a single by Reifsnyder. Bradley McLean, who singled earlier in the inning, scored when Chung beat out the backend of a double play attempt.
