Pistol Shrimp’s First Fan Fest & Super Hero Night this Saturday!

6.12.21 (Peru, IL) The Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp Players and SouthClaw Sam will be meeting and greeting fans this Saturday, June 12th at their first Fan Fest Meet the Players event, hosted by Central Bank in Peru, IL. The event runs from 10 am to 1 pm and free Superhero capes will be given to the first 50 kids. Central Bank has full line up of fun planned for fans including a selfie station, food truck, giveaways, a money machine game and other activities.

Saturday night is Grand Bear Resort’s Super Hero Night at Veterans Memorial Park as the Pistol Shrimp take on the Danville Dans. Come dressed as your favorite Super Hero or Disney character. Free face painting for kids and one lucky number winner will be receive a Grand Bear Resort Family Day Away Package with Grand Bear Falls waterpark passes, a round of mini golf at Canyon Creek, XL pizza and drinks. As always, look for the special theme night snapchat filter.

Delicious food options from Tony’s Butt Shack will be available including hillbilly walking nachos and double brat burgers. The “Shrimp Cocktail,” our signature adult beverage crafted with Star Union Spirit’s golden rum will also be offered.
