Date: Apr 5, 2025
Monocacy continued it's varsity dominance while Urbana, Smithsburg and Oakdale joined them in capturing 2024-25 season championships.
The Mustangs won their seventh straight Chesapeake division and "AA" varsity tournament title going 20-1 on the season. They have posted a 140-2 record over that stretch.

Oakdale's jayvee also completed an unblemished season at 22-0 in winning the "A" tournament crown while Smithsburg, 15-6 overall, took top honors on the "A" varsity level.

The boys added a 6th grade division this year with eight programs participating. Those are Oakdale, Smithsburg, Boonsboro, Poolesville, FSK, Urbana, Crestwood and Brunswick.
Those teams will play home/away against each other and have a year-end tournament in March.
Eighteen varsity/jayvee boys programs return this season with an 18-game regular season running from Thanksgiving weekend through the end of February. All teams will then take part in one of two year-end tournaments - "AA" and "A" level events - the first two weeks in March. Windsor Knolls is next in our rotation to host the "AA" event while Poolesville is first up for the "A" tourney.
There are three divisions once again this season with a varsity and jayvee champion to be determined in each. That breakdown is as follows:
CHESAPEAKE DIVISION - Monocacy, Urbana, Windsor Knolls, Linganore, Crestwood and Ballenger Creek
ANTIETAM DIVISION - Oakdale, Walkersville, West Frederick, Mt. Airy, Middletown and TJ
PIEDMONT DIVISION - Boonsboro, Brunswick, FSK, Poolesville, Catoctin and Smithsburg
TJ, Walkersville, West Frederick and all Chesapeake division teams will make up the "AA" tournament field. Oakdale, Middletown, Mt. Airy and all Piedmont programs will compete in the "A" tournament.
