The New Tecumseth Civics didn't have to look too far in their search for a new head coach. The Civics are pleased to announce Joseph Cathcart will be the new bench boss.
Prior to joining the Civics as Asst Coach along side Dennis Martindale in 2018, Joe, developed a long list of accolades both on and off the ice. He has been instrumental in the hockey careers of players all over Western Canada, including his son, Tyson Lambert, OJHL. Taking on many development - elite coaching roles, skill development, shooting clinics and power skating for Minor to JrA Players, his winning approach to hockey is simple; you get out what you put in.

As a businessman, player, coach, and now head coach of The New Tecumseth Civics, I have a deep connection to the love of this sport, fostering team comradery and the opportunity hockey provides for athletes always looking to reach the next level. I am excited to work with this talented group of young men and help them do just that. I am looking forward to ‘competing’ this year in the new role as Head Coach.”
