The New Tecumseth Civics are proud to announce that Russian Defenseman Mikhail Kornilov with serve as the teams 6th Captain in franchise history. He will be Assisted by forward Sincere Toto, and defenseman Aristarkh Pashentsev who will each have an A on their jerseys this season.

Kornilov has been a member of the Civics for all 6 seasons of the franchises existence wearing an A on his chest for the last 4. He enters the season as the active Games Played Leader in the GMHL with 134 and is also 3rd all-time in games played among Russian Defenseman (A category led by Civics Owner and President Nikita Vasilyev). He is also the active Points Leader among GMHL Players with 103 Career points. He looks to lead into his final season after posting 5 points (4 goals) in only 2 games last season before the season was shut down.

Toto returns to the Civics for his 2nd season and will be relied upon as a leader among forwards, the Saskatchewan born player recorded 6 points (all assists) in the 2 games for the Civics last season and will proudly be wearing an A on his chest as he looks to help lead the Civics to playoff success.

Pashentsev enters his 4th season with the Civics and has drastically improved every season since his rookie year in 2018-2019 and will look to combine his shutdown physical defensive play with the point per game potential he flashed last season as he looks to learn more about being a team captain from longtime teammate Mikhail Kornilov.
