Redbirds welcome stout forward Tony Campise!
Date: Jul 27, 2020

The Illinois State Redbirds welcome Parker Adams to the family! Adams, a 5’10” 180 lb. forward hails from Sherman, IL. Last season, he split time with Sherman’s High School team and Carshield AAA. Adams has scored 27 points in his 30 games played.
Adams knew Illinois State was the place for him when he found out that they not only have an outstanding business program, but also a great Hockey team. He intends to major in Business. Adam’s shares that his favorite coach is Al Maclnnis. He says he loves how knowledgeable he is about the sport and admires how he always shows fairness.
His absolute favorite hockey memory would be the time when he played in the Pee-Wee Quebec tournament in front of 10,000 people when he was only 10 years old. If Adam’s could be any animal, he would choose a dog. He chooses a dog because “who doesn’t love dogs?”. Adams favorite food is pizza.
The biggest supporters Adams has had throughout his 17 years on the ice are his parents. Adams is looking forward to meeting new people and even more excited to be able to start playing hockey at Illinois State.
“Parker adds as a top player into our forward core. He’s going to be a great asset for the program. He’s a quick, strong player on and off the puck. We look forward to the impact he will have in our line up for years to come!” – Coach Bobby DiNardi
The Redbirds are building to make a run at their first ACHA D1 conference title in 2020-21 playing in the Midwest College Hockey conference. It is the second year of the conference in ACHA D1. For more information on the conference, click here.
