BUFFALO HOCKEY GOES BACK-TO-BACK

University at Buffalo Hockey won the 2018-2019 NECHL Regular Season Championship and 2018-2019 NECHL Playoff Championship, in doing so Buffalo has gone back to back for the first time in program history. Over the past two season Buffalo is 28-1-4 versus NECHL opponents.  Buffalo won the 18-19 Regular Season Championship with a final record of 10-1-3 and outscoring opponents by 37 goals.

The Bulls captured the NECHL Memorial Cup and the Auto-bid to the ACHA National Championship on March 3rd, by defeating crosstown rival Canisius 2-1.

Buffalo first had to get past Niagara University in the semi-finals on March 2nd, Niagara had swept Buffalo during the regular season, defeating the Bulls twice by 1 goal.

Buffalo was able defeat the Purple Eagles in the semi-finals by a score of 6 – 1.
