Keene, NH- The Keene State College Owls Men's Ice Hockey Club Team kicked off its most aggressive fundraiser ever on Wednesday afternoon. #10kIn10Days is a campaign to raise $10,000 dollars over ten days to support the Club's trip to the ACHA Men's Division 2 National Tournament in Dallas, Texas, March 22-26.

Though the Club is partially through student fees by Keene State's Student Assembly, the majority of annual costs are paid by the players themselves.  Each player pays $1,500 per year to represent the College and each player will pay an additional $400 toward the cost of the trip to Dallas.

KSC advanced to the National Tournament in Philadelphia in 2016 and in Columbus in 2017 but the tournament has moved to Dallas (hosted by the NHL Dallas Stars) for 2019 and 2020 which poses additional travel challenges and expenses.  To support these expenses, the team has posted a video soliciting fundraising support which can be found at:  www.keene.edu/icehockey.
