Richard Snizek Outstanding Service Award

After nearly 20 years of service, Coach Sean Weaver stepped out from behind the bench at Central Florida. Under his guidance the Knights became know as one of the most respected ACHA clubs in the nation. Regular participants at the ACHA National Championships and provider of many lopsided defeats, UCF Ice Hockey expects great things every year.
Enter Coach Mike Kroll...
Born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan Mike began playing hockey at the age of 3. His on ice accomplishments include two High School state titles.
Coach Kroll began coaching at the age of 18; coaching numerous travel teams over many years. In 2007, Mike became head coach for Pinckney High School and led them to their first winning season that same year. The team later made several regional appearances and captured a regional championship title in 2011. In 2010 Mike had the opportunity to attend the USHL Combines behind the bench in Chicago, IL while representing the Green Bay Gamblers.
Mike has been a guest speaker at several coaching seminars around the Midwest and currently holds a Master Level certification with USA Hockey.
Coach Kroll attended Henry Ford College and Eastern Michigan University majoring in aviation management and criminal justice. Mike joined Delta Airlines immediately after graduating High School. He’s climbed the ladder to his current position as Delta’s GM of Airport Operations at Orlando International Airport.
Mike is quick to acknowledge Central Florida’s Hockey program is one of the most well-recognized and successful organizations in the ACHA. Recognizing the uncertainty players experience with a Coaching change, Mike is enjoying forging relationships while getting to know and have fun with them.
