Keene, NH-  The Keene State College Owls Men's Ice Hockey Club Team released its 2018-2019 season schedule and team roster on Friday and announced the team captains for the season.

Mario Serra (Jr, Chelmsford, MA) will be the team captain.  Lucas Poulin (Sr, Londonderry, NH) is an alternate captain for the team as are Chris Bertone (Jr, Marshfield, MA) and Kyle Carignan (Jr, Rochester, NH).  Senior Goaltender Carlin Testa (Cranston, RI) is the Club's President.

The team will open the 2018-2019 season on Friday October 5th, when St. Anselm College visits Keene ICE at 7:30pm. In addition to home and away matches with NECHA Patriot East divisional opponents (UMass, UVM, UConn and Holy Cross), Keene will play home and away games with SuperEast members UNH and RPI as well as long-time NECHA rival, Northeastern University.  Other NECHA Patriot opponents include: Bryant (at home), Providence (at home) and BU (away).  The Owls will travel to Southeastern Regional powers Delaware and Rider in November after visiting SuperEaste foes Marist and Siena in October.  Keene will visit Sacred Heart in November.  The complete season schedule is available HERE.  Season tickets will go on sale next week at Keene ICE.

The Roster this year will feature 14 new players including two new goaltenders, 5 new defensemen and seven neew forwards.  Incoming players have arrived from throughout New England, New York and Quebec.  The complete roster is available HERE.
