The fast-paced weekend of 5 games in just 3 days began with a narrow 3-2 victory over the very talented group from Michigan on Friday night. 

Entering the Championship game Sunday morning again the SEC squad was a much anticipated game.

Both finalists completed Pool play undefeated and with almost identical goals for & against.
The SECHC jumped out to a 2 goal lead in the first minute of play which proved to be too much to recover from for the South All-Stars team. 
The South All-Stars were comprised almost entirely of players from the SCHC except for 3 great skaters;  2 from UNCW & the third from Clemson.
