Riley just finished his second fall with MBA and was a great asset to the team both years. Riley is a senior at West Bend West and plays for the Spartans varsity baseball team. Riley was part of the 2017 State Championship team and hopes to help the Spartans repeat in 2018. Riley is primarily an infielder, but is also a solid outfielder and pitcher. Here’s what Riley had to say about his time at MBA:

How did you think the two seasons at MBA went?

“The team and coaches were great. We got to see a lot of top tier competition from other states which was fun and we did well which made it even better. Overall, my experience with MBA was only positive.”

What was the competition like?

“The teams we played against were usually competitive which is what you want as a player.”

How did MBA help you improve as a player?

“The coaches at MBA are really amazing and know all the ins and outs when it comes to baseball. I think my swing got a lot better working with Dave in the fall.”

Would you recommend MBA to an outsider?

“Absolutely. MBA is a place you can go at any skill level and they will definitely help you get better no matter where you’re starting at."

What would you say sets MBA apart from similar organizations?

“The way the coaches take time to get to know all the players they are working with. The coaches I’ve worked with at MBA have all been really great and I feel like they really take time to build unique relationships with all the players, and you won’t see that sort of thing in other organizations.”
