Looking for some of the brightest young talent in Canadian basketball?  The 12th annual Rumble in the T-Dot’s All-Canada Classic on June 13 at the Air Canada Centre will feature some of the exceptional athletes making noise both here and abroad.

A staple of Canadian high school hoops for over a decade, the event has showcased some of the biggest and brightest stars to ever come out of the nation in the countries one and only national high school all-star game.

Though this year will be missing some marquee players due to commitments to the Cadet and Junior National teams, there will be no shortage of prolific players to make for an exciting and competitive event.

To kick things off will be the girls games which will be followed by a new addition to the event. For the first time ever the Rumble in the T-Dot will also have a celebrity all-star game featuring some of the most recognizable names in the Toronto music scene with DJ Starting From Scratch, T Rexx, JRDN, Divine Brown and Global Television meteorologist Anthony Farnell all set to battle a team of willing contestants.

For the finale will be the boys game but adding a little wrinkle to this years contest will see the matchup turn into a North vs South battle. Representing the North squad will be a collection of the best Canadian ball players from within the nation and will be coached by Humber College’s Fred Grannum and REDA’s Jesse Tipping. Comprising the South squad will be a collection of Canadian ball players who took their talents to the US to play high school ball and will be led by Christian Faith Center Academy and Grass Roots Canada’s Ro Russell and Henry Carr’s Paul Melnik.

With three exciting games scheduled for action it will be an evening full of promise for the growth of the game on Canadian soil.
