Basketball / PHASE 1 Academy Honor Roll

PHASE 1 Academy Honor Roll

Date:  Source: Phase 1 Basketball

The majority of the athletes are excelling in the classroom, even considering that many of our students came to the program with the challenge of English as a second language, and all of them are coming from large semester public schools. We are proud to announce a very successful overall academic 1st quarter.  We would like to take this time to highlight three of our student athletes who made the honour roll. These three students have gone above and beyond in their efforts. They have been diligent in and out of the classroom, being challenged to do the best they can in all situations. Solomon Silas a junior from Nigeria earned a 3.2, Alvaro Merlo a Senior form Argentina earned 3.26 and Kenrick Hudson a Senior from Canada earned a 3.0.

Academics are a major focus here at PHASE 1 International Academy. We take pride in creating an environment that can allow students to be successful. We have tutors, academic/study areas, allotted study times, and other resources available to our student athletes. One of our goals for the second quarter reports is to have at least fifty (50) percent of the student athletes on the honor roll.

We congratulate the efforts of all our student athletes, but we always want to highlight those who do an outstanding job, congratulations to these hardworking young men. Keep up the great work guys! We are grateful to Faith Christian Schools dedicated teaching staff and our in home tutors for their commitment to supporting PHASE 1 Academy’s student athletes.  We look forward to more academic and athletic success.
